On November 18, 2024, Region 10 filed an expedited settlement agreement resolving CWA violations of the NPDES permit covering the Town of Rockford?s wastewater facility (Rockford, WA). Alleged violations included failures to submit a DMR, late DMR submittals and effluent limit exceedances for total suspended solids (TSS) and fecal coliform. This enforcement action stands to reduce TSS and fecal coliform in the effluent entering Rock Creek and improve the submittal of timely DMRs.
