On 8/6/25, EPA Region 6 issued a Consent Agreement and Final Order (CAFO) to Selected Brands, Inc. (Respondent) for alleged violations of the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act FIFRA). The EPA alleges that Respondent distributed or sold unregistered pesticides, in violation of Section 12(a)(1)(A) of FIFRA, 7 USC Section 136j(a)(1)(A). By signing the CAFO, Respondent certifies that it is presently in compliance with the requirements of FIFRA and will pay a civil penalty of $40,000.00 within 30 days of the date of issue.
