On October 27, Region 3 issued a Notice of Warning to E.J. Miller & Sons Pool Company of Mifflinburg, PA for suspected sale or distribution of a misbranded pesticide and a pesticide whose composition differed from the composition represented in the product?s registration. This was based on information gathered during a FIFRA producer establishment inspection, conducted by the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture with EPA federal credentials. This action supports the Powering the Great American Comeback initiative - Pillar 1: Clean Air, Land, and Water for Every American. The Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture was provided notice of the planned enforcement action and had no objections.
