Region 5 filed a Consent Agreement and Final Order (CAFO) commencing and concluding an action against Timber Products Michigan Limited Company (Timber Products). Region 5 alleged that Timber Products violated the Clean Air Act (CAA) by emitting more PM from one of the facility?s boilers than allowed by Timber Products? permit and by failing to provide emissions data for one emissions unit at the facility in its annual MAERS reporting from 2021. Timber Products has agreed to pay a penalty of $112,297.
