On May 6, 2026, EPA Region 6 issued an Administrative Order under its authority pursuant to Section 309 of the Clean Water Act (33 U.S.C. ? 1251 et seq.) to W&T Energy VI, LLC located in the Gulf of America.The AO was issued in response to violations identified during a file review from May 11, 2023 to May 11, 2025. and from compliance evaluation inspections conducted by the United States Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement (BSEE) on August 9, 2024 and May 20, 2025. The compliance deadline is within thirty (30) calendar days of receipt of the AO.
