Summary

Violation: The Respondent's oil field facility was a point source discharge of pollutants to waters of the US . The violation was identified during an EPA inspection conducted on August 21, 2007 in Archer Co. TX. A tank battery facility discharged brine (produced water) to a tributary of the Little Wichita River. Relief: A Cease and Desist Administrative Order is being issued. The Order is requiring the Respondent to do the following: Cease all discharges of pollutants from the facility; remove a discharge valve; remove the brine from the creek; and to submit written certification that these activities have been completed.
