This is a Civil Judicial Referral pursuant to CERCLA and RCRA regarding the San Gabriel Area 4 / Puente Valley Operable Unit. This referral involves a total of 15 defendants, and requests that DOJ lodge the referred Consent Decree in settlement with these parties. The Consent Decree will require the Settling Defendants to reimburse EPA for $1.75 million and the California Department of Toxic Substance Control (DTSC) for $12,000 for costs associated with the Interim record of decision (ROD), as modified by the explanation of significant differences (ESD).
