Rimtec Corporation voluntary disclosed to EPA on June 30, 2006 under EPAs Audit Policy of its failure to file Form A reports for zinc compounds for calendar years 2002, 2003 and 2004. EPA denied Rimtec penalty mitigation under the Audit Policy because the disclosure postdated EPAÂs inquiry and Rimtec failed to meet the No Repeat Violations criterion described at condition D.7 of the Audit Policy. An Administrative Complaint was issued to Rimtec on March 28, 2008 for the above mentioned violations that proposed a penalty of $62,500.
