Dana Corporation manufactures industrial and auto small steel hydraulic and hose fittings on 40 acres east of Antwep, Ohio near the Maumee River. 32 solid waste management units have been identified at the facility. In a 4+ acre area near a former trichloroethylene storage facility, soil and groundwater is contaminated down to bedrock (45 feet below ground surface) with volatile organic compounds. The contaminant concentrations exceed preliminary remediation goals for soils and maximum contaminant levels for groundwater.
