EPA performed a Clean Water Act NPDES review of Respondent's Discharge Monitoring Reports from 1998 to 2002 and found several effluent violations (Oil & Grease) and a number of reporting violations. Respondent has NPDES OCS General Permit coverage for offshore oil & gas operations in the Western portion of the Gulf of Mexico. Respondent is being required to take steps to prevent these violations in the future and to provide a report of what changes are being implemented to correct these problems.
