This is a Civil Judicial Referral pursuant to the CWA involving sanitary sewer overflows in the City of San Diego. EPA anticipates joining a current action, Baykeeper vs. City of San Diego. This action follows an Administrative Order, dated April 5, 2002 (ICIS Enf. ID # 09-2002-0062; Water Program # CWA-309-9-02-17), directing the City to eliminate sanitary sewer overflows from their municipal collection system. Specific required actions include repair and replacement of pipes and upgrading maintenance procedures. [NOTE: This case is Civil Action No. 03-CV-1349K (POR), S.D.
