THE SLOPE BRAKE CAR WAS REMOVED FROM SERVICE TO PERFORM REGULARLY SCHEDULED PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE. THE BRAKE PINS WERE REPLACED AND THE BRAKE CAR WAS PLACED BACK INTO SERVICE ON JANUARY 28, 2004 AT 8:00 AM.
