Narrative

While working on a scissor deck, an employee's right index finger was struck by a 6-inch by 7-inch rock that fell from wire cut for a cable bolt insertion. The finger was resting on the pipe handler, resulting in a laceration that required sutures. The employee was wearing cut- and impact-resistant gloves.
