## Narrative

A development miner was installing 12-foot rebar bolts in the back with a jackleg drill. The previous bolt that they attempted to install set up before it was driven so there was about 8"" of the bolt exposed. The miner was holding on to the bolt and their hand slipped off the bolt causing it to spring back & strike the employee in the upper lip resulting in a laceration.
