Food Stamp Program: Benefit Delivery Rule

This rulemaking finalizes three Food Stamp Program provisions relating to benefit delivery. These regulations relate to the staggered issuance of benefits on Indian reservations, combined or aggregate allotments, and the issuance of benefits in rural areas where households may experience difficulty in obtaining program benefits. In addition to the regulatory changes described above, this rule makes final three minor technical changes in current regulatory issuance provisions which are deemed appropriate by the Department to improve benefit issuance.
