## Narrative
The contact owns a 1995 Honda Odyssey. The contact stated that while driving 15 MPH, the front driver’s and passenger’s air bags deployed unexpectedly, with heavy black smoke coming from the vehicle. The contact was advised by a bystander to shift the vehicle into park(P) and exit the vehicle. The emergency services were contacted, and the driver was transported to a hospital for treatment of respiratory issues caused by smoke inhalation. The contact has continued medical attention via a pulmonologist and was concerned for her smoke inhalation as a non-smoker. After the deployment of the air bags, the vehicle remained in operation and was driven to an independent mechanic to be repaired related to the air bag deployment. The contact notified a local dealer about the failure but received no assistance. The manufacturer had not yet been notified of the failure. The air bag system was not repaired. The failure mileage was unknown.
