The contact's son owned a 2019 Nissan Rogue. While the owner was driving and depressing the brake pedal while stopped at a red light with a friend seated in the front passenger seat, a drunk driver crashed into the rear of the vehicle. The driver’s and passenger’s seat backs reclined backwards due to the impact of the crash. The contact stated that the air bags had not deployed. The contact stated that the driver’s and passenger’s side frontal air bags should have deployed. The passenger sustained injuries to the back and later received medical assistance, underwent a CT scan, and was awaiting a diagnosis. A Police report was filed.
