## Narrative
The contact owns a 2026 Genesis GV70. The contact stated that while driving approximately 14 MPH, the automated brakes independently and violently engaged. The sudden braking caused the contact’s head to strike the driver’s side door frame, resulting in a head injury and a brief loss of consciousness. There were no warning lights illuminated prior to the failure, but the vehicle entered "Emergency Mode" during the failure. Medical attention was required, resulting in an emergency room visit. The contact stated that after the failure, the power seats became inoperable and batteries were draining abnormally. The battery failure locked the doors, and the vehicle was taken to the dealer to unlock the doors due to the failure. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer, and the vehicle was diagnosed with misaligned and low-facing radar sensors that were tracking the ground. The manufacturer was notified of the failure but could not assist because there were no fault codes retrieved. The failure mileage was 100.
