## Narrative

The contact stated that after the vehicle was turned off, there was an abnormal humming sound coming from under the hood, with an abnormally strong fuel odor. The contact stated that the vehicle was garage-kept and that the fuel odor caused a slight lightheadedness. The local dealer was contacted. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 35,000.
