The contact owns a 2026 Chevrolet Silverado EV. While driving approximately 26-40 MPH, the contact was distracted by an inoperable navigation system and ran a red light and crashed into front driver’s side of another vehicle. The Forward Collision Avoidance warning light illuminated; however, the air bags did not deploy, and the Forward Collision Avoidance Automatic Emergency Braking feature failed to activate as designed.
