## Narrative
While leaving a parking lot the vehicle was pulling out a parking spot in reverse, as the vehicle changed from reverse to drive, teh vehicle randomly started accelerating without cause, the gas pedal was not initiated and there was no pedal influence at all. The car had an internal computer issue and started to sort through the cruise control settings, adapative cruise control settings, and just started accelerating out of nowhere without being told to do so. The car was able to come to a complete stop after the driver reacted quickly;y and swiftly, scaring the passenger of the vehicle which was his wife, and his (2) daughters one of which is an infant and the other a toddler. This was a scary moment for the entire family as the vehicle had zero control. We have reported the incident to the proper channels at Ford and have taken the vehicle in to have it diagnosed and nothing has been done to correct the problem; in fact they haven’t even found a problem. The car has done this on multiple occasions so now we dont park the vehicle in parking garages, car parking lots in close proximity to other vehicles, and we do not pull nose in to parking spots at all in the event that the car accelerates without cause. The car is also having a multitude of transmission issues from skipping to dropping out to locking up. The car has been taken in on multiple occasions just to be told they didn’t find any issues. Ultimately we believe the car has a software issue as we had another ford vehic
