## Narrative
On October 8, 2026, at approximately 3:52 PM, I was reversing my 2026 Tesla Model Y (VIN 7SAYGDED6TF606672) in the parking lot of the Tesla store/service center in North Hollywood, CA, while Full Self-Driving (Supervised) was engaged. The vehicle failed to detect a stationary iron pole in the parking space and continued reversing into it, resulting in a collision that scuffed the paint and left a small dent on the rear lower bumper trim. The FSD system gave no warning and did not brake before impact. I have dashcam footage confirming FSD was active at the time of the collision. When I reported the incident to Tesla service staff at the location, they stated the collision was the driver's fault and denied any responsibility of the FSD system. I am concerned that FSD's failure to detect a large stationary metal obstacle at low speed indicates a safety defect in the driver-assistance system.
