## Narrative
On September 20, 2026, I was involved in a serious motorcycle accident while wearing a Dainese D-Air Smart Jacket electronic airbag (SKU 201D20024). The airbag did not deploy, and I sustained multiple rib fractures and a scapular fracture requiring surgery. I lost consciousness during the accident and therefore cannot personally reconstruct the exact crash dynamics. The accident involved a collision with a deer, which was found dead next to the motorcycle. Physical evidence, including deer fur attached to the motorcycle's front fender near the right side of the front wheel, indicates contact in that area. The precise sequence of events and motorcycle dynamics remain undetermined. The D-Air system had displayed a steady green operational indicator before the accident. However, its exact operating status at the moment of impact has not been independently verified. The jacket has been preserved in its post-accident condition without electronic access or servicing. I am reporting this incident as a potential safety-related non-deployment and request that NHTSA evaluate the circumstances, including whether the device's recorded electronic data can establish its operating status, crash detection, and reason for non-deployment. I am willing to cooperate with a technical examination under an appropriate evidence-preservation protocol.
