## Narrative
My 2015 Ford Edge has an inoperative power liftgate. The problem started about a week ago. I would press the lift button and it would work inconsistently. Finally, yesterday, after buying groceries, I attempted to open the liftgate. It stopped leaving a crack. I attempted to pry it open with my fingers and all of a sudden, it started closing on me trapping two of my fingers. I was able to pry them out. It was was very painful and scary. I entered my car and the liftgate ajar light was on. I could do nothing about this. The next morning I learned that my battery was dead.  I am now unable to use my car at all. Waiting for Ford to contact me to tow my car to the dealership for the repair.
