## Narrative
On 10/22/26, the driver engaged Full Self-Driving (Supervised) while the vehicle was parked in our residential garage, to back out onto the driveway. As the vehicle reversed out of the garage under FSD, the driver’s-side mirror struck the garage wall, damaging the mirror and causing minor damage to the wall. The vehicle did not stop or correct its path before or after contact. The vehicle displayed no alerts or takeover warnings at any point. The driver was watching the vehicle’s rearward path but was not monitoring the clearance at the driver’s-side mirror, did not intervene, and did not alter the wheel direction. No one was injured. Tesla estimated the repair cost at approximately $1,200. Dashcam footage was not saved, and I am still trying to recover it. I can provide photos of the damage and the repair estimate on request. I am reporting this to add to NHTSA’s record of FSD incidents during low-speed garage maneuvers.
