## Narrative

Frac technicians conducting monitoring operations on water levels of gauging tanks during oil and gas drilling operations are potentially overexposed to air contaminants and respiratory irritants such as chlorine, hydrogen sulfide, and benzene. Recently, an employee was admitted to the hospital for observation and treatment after suffering from an extreme coughing episode after working a monitoring shift at the worksite. A second employee was treated and released.
