## Narrative

An employee attempted to clear two pieces of lumber that became jammed on a conveyor using a tool called a pick. The conveyor was not shut down at the time. He slipped, and his right foot became wedged between the conveyor's chain. He suffered lacerations and trauma to his right foot, requiring surgery.
