## Narrative

A maintenance crew was fabricating and terminating an "EYE" splice on a tether. The injured employee was pulling a serving line trough a termination when the serving line wrapped around his right-hand middle fingertip. When he attempted to free his finger from the serving line, his right middle fingertip was severed at the first knuckle.
