## Narrative

An employee was scraping loose asphalt off the apron of a dump truck containing hot asphalt. The excavator shovel was laying in the bed of the dump truck when the dump truck started to move forward. The dump truck pulled the excavator forward, causing a blade on the excavator to strike the employee, who then fell onto the hot asphalt. The employee suffered severe burns on both forearms, a chipped left ankle bone, and broken bones in the right ankle/foot.
