## Narrative

An employee was attempting to remove a molded 27.5-inch rubber part from the mold using an overhead crane and a push-out barrel. When he raised the part and the core mold with the crane, he reached up under the part to apply more 4x4 wooden blocks. The part then slipped off the core, pinning his right arm between the part and the push-out barrel. He suffered a broken arm and hand, as well as a forearm burn, and required surgery.
