## Narrative

An employee was removing the final portion of a tree stump utilizing a pull rope and a vehicle. The rope broke under tension resulting in a large recoil that struck the employee on the right cheek. The employee suffered fractures to the eye socket, abrasions, and contusions. The employee was hospitalized.
