## Narrative

An employee was trying to grab a wooden component before it reached the end of a conveyor. The wooden component was positioned sideways between slats. As he grabbed the wooden component, it became lodged between slats, and his left ring fingertip was pinched and amputated between the wooden component and metal framework at the end of the conveyor.
