An employee was loading a mini-excavator onto a roll-back truck when the boom of the mini-excavator swung around, causing the machine to fall off the truck. He tried to get out of the way, but the roll-over protection landed on his right leg, resulting in a compound fracture to his tibia and bruised lower back. He was hospitalized.
