## Narrative

An employee was feeding wood into a saw conveyor when a piece of scrap kicked out of the saw and struck the employee's chest. The employee was standing 10 to 12 feet away from the saw at the time. The piece of scrap became embedded in the employee's chest, requiring hospitalization.
