## Narrative

An employee was a passenger inside a work truck that was driving down the road. She stepped out of the work truck to collect roadway signs. As she was walking around the vehicle, a pickup truck struck her, sending her to the ground. She suffered lacerations to the face, ears, and scalp and was hospitalized.
