## Narrative

On March 13, 2019, at approximately 6:45 p.m., a temporary employee was setting up a new job on the sheet metal cutting machine when his fingers contacted the blade, resulting in a partial traumatic transphalangeal amputation of the left ring finger. The machine was guarded at the time.
