## Narrative

An HVAC service technician was responding to a service call at a customer's residential location. The employee was investigating a portion of the HVAC system in the backyard and fell from the elevated deck to the unpaved ground below. The employee suffered contusions and lacerations to the spleen and lower arms that required hospitalization.
