## Narrative

An employee was operating a pallet transfer lift when she reached under the lift to check the alignment of the lifting tabs and the lifting tabs engaged the underside of the unit, catching her left index finger between the lifting tab and the bottom of the unit. She suffered a fingertip amputation.
