## Narrative

An employee was painting an 18-inch detention system manifold supported on a metal sawhorse. When the employee rolled the part from vertical to horizontal, the pipe side of the manifold slipped off his hand. His left ring finger was pinched between the pipe and the sawhorse and the fingertip was amputated.
