## Narrative

Two employees were manually tapping holes after destructive removal of studs. They were using a pneumatic ratchet, placed on the socket over the tap, with a stop bar in one of the existing studs. When the injured employee activated the pneumatic wrench, it pulled the employee toward a neighboring stud. The employee's left ring finger was pinched between the tool body and the stud, causing an amputation at the fingertip.
