## Narrative

An employee was placing a metal shelf (39 x 95 inches) on a storage rack. He attempted to straighten the shelf and center it on its support. The shelf slipped off the support and pinched his wrists against a cross brace. The employee sustained artery damage at the left wrist, requiring surgery.
