## Narrative

An employee was building pallets when a flipper arm tore off a stringer. When the employee pulled off the stringer to fix the pallet, a photo eye was activated, which fed a stringer into the work area and caused the employee to be caught between the stringer and the jib. The employee sustained a partial amputation to their left ring finger.
