## Narrative

An employee was entering a concrete pit by stepping down onto a 55-gallon drum in the pit. He slipped and fell, and his lower abdomen struck the edge of the drum; his upper body then fell toward the other side of the drum. He suffered internal crushing injuries to the abdomen, as well as a laceration to the lower lip.
