## Narrative

Four employees were operating and overseeing a machine used to cut, re-roll, and patch fabrics and rubber. After the fabric in the machine was cut, smoothed out, and wound up, the injured employee raised the blade bar and began smoothing the fabric again. They then lowered the blade bar back into place, crushing their left thumb between the blade bar and the yellow resting block on the machine.
