## Narrative

An employee was on her way to drop off mail at the mailbox and stopped to talk to another employee. She took a step over a curb that was 4-5 inches from the lower pavement when she fell onto the pavement and sustained lacerations and contusions on her face as well as trauma to the left shoulder and hip.
