## Narrative

An employee was moving I-beams into position so that holes could be drilled into the I-beam using a magnetic drill head. While operating the magnetic drill press, the employee s left, gloved thumb was caught by the drill bit, which then pulled the employee s sweatshirt and hair into the machine. The employee suffered a broken left forearm that required hospitalization and surgery.
