## Narrative

An employee was standing on a ladder checking the position of the equipment while other employees raised an air handler into the attic/ceiling. As the unit was being lifted up, the winch cable snapped, causing the air handler to drop out of the ceiling. It flipped and struck the ladder, knocking the injured employee onto the floor, 6-8 feet below. The employee sustained lacerations and multiple fractures to the face, forehead, nose, eyes, and neck.
