## Narrative

On August 23, 2023, a maintenance technician was installing a 300-pound steel plate over a hatch cover. The magnetic lifting device holding the plate gave way. The steel plate came down onto the technician's left leg, directly above the knee, causing a laceration. The employee was hospitalized.
