## Narrative

An employee was inspecting the pin of a hydraulic ram clevis. Upon pulling the pin out to inspect it, the hammer device fell, catching his finger between it and the housing. The employee's left ring finger was fractured and lacerated, requiring hospitalization and possible surgery.
