## Narrative

On October 24, 2023, an employee was carrying a 50-pound cardboard box on an expanded metal catwalk. The employee tripped and fell forward. The box he was carrying dropped and crushed his left ring fingertip against the metal grating of the catwalk, resulting in an amputation.
